Common Ground for Siblings

Finding opportunities for my artsy, animal-loving 8-year-old and my sporty 11-year-old outdoorsman to connect is no easy feat. But when the boys are taken out of their elements and engaged in an activity where neither already excels, they find perfect opportunities for teamwork and friendship. My boys discovered their common ground in an afternoon spent learning magic tricks and performing a magic show for our entire family. United in their efforts and enthusiasm, brothers became friends.
