Training Savvy Shoppers

When it comes to back-to-school shopping, we give our two daughters a clothing allowance with specific goals. They must buy new shoes, five pairs of pants and new backpacks. This strategy has helped the girls become smart shoppers. They look for coupons, sale ads and 30-day replacement policies. They even go to thrift stores.
