Getting my kids out the door in the morning doesn’t have to be stressful when I plan ahead. We designate one spot near the door as a "launch pad" where backpacks, phones, library books, and so on, are placed the night before each school morning. We also designate a spot in each bedroom where children can lay out all their clothes for the next day. We pack lunches the night before and put them in the refrigerator. The morning routine becomes three easy steps: bedroom, kitchen and launch pad.
