Grateful Hearts

Every night my husband or I asked our children to choose three things from their day for which they were grateful. It could be a slice of cake, a play date with a friend or something as simple as playing with the cat next door. We would ask why they were grateful and how they had shown their gratitude. It was a simple tradition that helped nurture grateful hearts.
