Pray for Kids

This week's prayer:

Pray that your children will use God's gifts to serve others so that God will receive the glory due Him (1 Peter 4:10-11).

Past prayers:

Pray that your kids will be filled with joy as they realize all God has done for them (Psalm 126:3).

Pray that your children would "keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4:3).

Pray that your children would begin telling others about the kindness of the Lord (Isaiah 63:7).

Pray that your child will follow his conscience — and when others criticize him for living a life that honors Christ, they will be put to shame (1 Peter 3:16).

Pray that your kids would learn to be generous on every occasion so that others will give thanks to God (2 Corinthians 9:11).

Pray that your children would be active in sharing their faith, so that they will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ (Philemon 1:6).

Pray that your children would never lose hope in those they love (1 Corinthians 13:7).

Pray that your children would acknowledge God's presence in their lives as He makes their paths straight (Proverbs 4:11).

Ask God to help your children stand firm in a sinful culture (2 Peter 3:17).

Pray that your kids would be just and merciful as they live for God (Micah 6:8).

Pray that your kids would speak the truth in love as they grow in Him (Ephesians 4:15).

Pray that your children would know the value of preserving their good names (Proverbs 22:1).

Ask God to help your children grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Pray that your children would be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).

Pray that your children will recognize God’s might and power in the stars and realize what His knowing each one by name means for them (Isaiah 40:26).

Pray that your children would be an example for others in the way they speak and act despite the fact that they are young (1 Timothy 4:12).

Pray that your kids would know the righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 6:14).

Pray that your children would take refuge in God (Proverbs 30:5).

Pray that your children will trust in Jesus as the Word of Life and will understand His message of salvation (1 John 1:1).

Pray that your children will obey you because they know that this pleases the Lord (Colossians 3:20).

Pray that your child will continually delight in the law of the Lord and prosper like a tree planted by water (Psalms 1:1-3).

Pray that your child will live a righteous life so that his or her path will be like the growing light of the dawn (Proverbs 4:18).

Pray that your children will have the true knowledge of Christ, share in His divine nature and escape the corruption of the world (2 Peter 1:3-4).

Pray that your children will turn to the Father of mercies and God of all comfort when they are faced with trouble (2 Corinthians 1:3).

Pray that your children will understand that freedom in Christ is not a license to sin but an opportunity to love and serve others (Galatians 5:13).

Pray that your child will remember God’s faithfulness and be both devoted and wholehearted in serving Him (1 Samuel 12:24).

Pray that your children would learn to offer hospitality to others without grumbling (1 Peter 4:9).

Pray that your children will keep their eyes on the eternal home that God has built for them (2 Corinthians 5:11).

Pray that your kids would encourage friends and family with kind words (Proverbs 12:25).

Ask God to show your children that His Word can give them wisdom and direction for their lives (Psalm 119:105).

Pray that your children will strive to keep a pure heart and confess their sins because God is faithful and will forgive them (1 John 1:9).

Pray that your children will walk in obedience to all God's commands and revere Him (Deuteronomy 8:6).

Pray that God would grant your child a spirit of power, love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Pray for your kids would be faithful in doing the big and small things that they need to do (1 Corinthians 4:2).

Pray that your children would renew their strength in God (Isaiah 40:31).

Pray that your child will have a tender heart and humble mind around others (1 Peter 3:8).

Ask God to help your children understand how the He has formed them and given them good works to do (Ephesians 2:10).

Pray that your child will frequently think about the Lord and not just earthly things (Colossians 3:2).

Pray that your children would learn more about their part in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27).

Ask God to be the Rock for your children and help them know that His works are perfect (Deuteronomy 32:4).

Pray that your child would look for opportunities to share the hope she has in Christ (1 Peter 3:15).

Pray that your child will encourage and build up others (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

Pray that "the joy of the Lord" will give your children strength each day (Nehemiah 8:10).

Pray that your children would know that it is in their weakness that God's power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Pray that your kids might see God's goodness in their lives (Psalm 27:13).

Pray that the Lord would make your children's love "increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else" (1 Thessalonians 3:12).

Ask God for your kids' love to give great joy, encouragement and refreshment to the hearts of others (Philemon 1:7).

Pray that the Holy Spirit would guide your child's thoughts (Psalms 139:23-24).

Pray that your children make the best use of their time (Ephesians 5:16).

Pray that your kids would treat their elders with respect and recognize their value and worth in God’s eyes (Proverbs 16:31).

Pray that your children would choose wisdom that is peace-loving, gentle and sincere (James 3:17).
