This week's prayer:
Pray that your children will rejoice in God’s kindness and grace toward them (Ephesians 2:7).
Ask God to help your children comprehend that His love for them is so
great that He gave His Son for their benefit (Romans 8:32).
Pray that your children will have the personal confidence that comes with knowing they belong to Jesus (Romans 8:31).
Ask God to help your children always be ready and able to listen to Him (Joshua 3:9).
Pray that your children will turn to Jesus when they have done wrong or need help (Hebrews 4:16).
Pray that your children will know that Jesus understands their
weaknesses because He was tempted as they are, though He never sinned
Pray that your children will understand that freedom in Christ is not a
license to sin but an opportunity to love and serve others. (Galatians
Ask God to help your children recognize their debt of love, generously loving others because God first loved them (Romans 13:8).
Ask God to help your children live in a way that brings honor to Jesus
Christ — with humility, gentleness and patience, so as to live in peace

Pray that your children will make God their priority and always seek His
ways and His righteousness first, being confident that He will provide
for their needs (Matthew 6:33)
Pray that your children will obey you because they know that this pleases the Lord (Colossians 3:20)
Ask God to help your children resolve disagreements, comfort one another
in sadness or trouble and live peacefully together (2 Corinthians
Ask Jesus to help your children follow God’s truth without caring what others think (Matthew 22:16)
Pray that your children will learn to rely on the Holy Spirit to help them follow God’s truth (John 16:13)
Pray that your children will not find satisfaction in wrongdoing; and
pray that God will help them find joy in His truth (1 Corinthians 13:6)
Pray that your children will hold on to the sure hope that God has a
future home for each of them, and that Jesus has gone to prepare that
place (John 14:2)
Ask God to help your children understand how the He has formed them and given them good works to do (Ephesians 2:10)
Ask God to give your children a courageous faith in Jesus that will last all their days. (2 Corinthians 5:6-7)
Pray that your child will follow his conscience — and when others
criticize him for living a life that honors Christ, they will be put to
shame. (1 Peter 3:16)
Pray that your children will fully understand God's grace and be filled
with hope that will produce in them strong faith and love. (Colossians

they will always know in their hearts that Jesus is the Way, the Truth
and the Life, and that there is no other way to the Father except
through Him. (John 14:6)
Pray that your child will frequently think about the Lord and not just earthly things. (Colossians 3:2)
Pray that your children will fear and obey the Lord. Ask Him to help
them trust in Him and rely on His help when they feel as if they are
walking in darkness (Isaiah 50:10).
Pray that your children will walk in obedience to all God's commands and revere Him. (Deuteronomy 8:6)
Pray for your child to have faith in the blood of Christ and receive His righteousness for the release from sin. (Romans 3:25)
Pray that your children will remember God's promises, reject the unholy
desires that corrupt their hearts and continually grow in holiness and
proper fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)
Pray that your children will strive to keep a pure heart and confess
their sins because God is faithful and will forgive us. (1 John 1:9)
Pray that as your children are faced with the darkness of the world,
they will let their light shine to those around them so others will see
the difference in them and glorify God. (Matthew 5:16)
Pray that your children will trust in Jesus as the Word of Life and will understand His message of Salvation. (1 John 1:1)
Pray that your children will have the true knowledge of Christ, share in
His divine nature and escape the corruption of the world. (2 Peter
Pray for your children to declare what they have seen and heard about
Jesus Christ so that others can have fellowship with the Father and
Jesus. (1 John 1:3)
Pray that your children will follow Jesus throughout their lives so that
they will walk in His light and not in darkness. (John 8:12)
Pray for your children to know the comfort of the Lord when they are afraid. (Isaiah 51:12)
Pray that your children will know the joy of forgiveness. (Psalm 32:1)
Ask God to be the Rock for your children and help them know that His works are perfect. (Deuteronomy 32:4)
Pray that your children realize that all things were made through Christ and nothing was made without Him. (John 1:3)
Pray that your children will trust God to fulfill His purpose through them. (Psalm 57:2)
Pray that your children would have their eyes opened to see the wisdom of God through the creatures He created. (Psalm 104:24)
Pray that your children will recognize God’s might and power in the
stars and realize what His knowing each one by name means for them.
Pray that your child will live a righteous life so that his or her path
will be like the growing light of the dawn (Proverbs 4:18).
Pray that your child will continually delight in the law of the Lord and prosper like a tree planted by water (Psalm 1:1-3).
Pray that your child will encourage and build up others (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Pray that your child will show true love for God by obeying His commandments (John 14:15).
Pray that your child will recognize God's power and deeds through His creation (Romans 1:20).
Pray that your child will remember God’s faithfulness and be both devoted and wholehearted in serving Him (1 Samuel 12:24).
Pray that your children will pursue God, not money (1 Timothy 6:17).
Pray that your children will remember that Jesus bought them with the
price of His own life, so they are not their own (1 Corinthians 6:20).
Pray that your children make the best use of their time (Ephesians 5:16).
Pray that your children would encourage and build up each other (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Pray that your child would hear the words of God (John 8:47).
Pray that your children would be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).
