Family Devotion: Protected By Angels

by Naomi Cassata

Psalm-91-11Play: Ask your child to point out things around her that are there for her safety. In the car this might be seat belts, brakes and stop signs. At home she may spot locks on doors or a fire extinguisher.

Talk: We pointed out a number of things that protect us from danger, but these aren’t the only things that keep us safe each day. In Psalm 91:11, we read that God commands His angels to guard us carefully. Even though we can’t see them, His angels are watching over us. God cares for His children and wants us to stay protected. Tell me about a time when you were scared and it would have been comforting to know that God's angels were with you.

Pray: Thank God for sending His angels to watch over you.
