Family Devotion: Nothing Is Impossible for God

by Naomi Cassata

Isaiah-59-1Play: Have your children sit. Ask them to touch things that are out of reach, without getting up. Next, whisper a question to them so they can barely hear it. Repeat these activities a few times.

Talk: In our game, it was difficult to touch beyond our reach or clearly hear the whispered messages. Our abilities are limited. But there is someone who can do anything. Isaiah 59:1 says, "Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear." Nothing is impossible for God, and we can pray when we need help. What kinds of things could you ask God to help you with?

Pray: Ask God to help you remember that He is bigger than any problem you may face.
