Family Devotion: Think About Thankfulness

spacer

by Amanda B. Smith

Play: Tell your kids to sing, clap their hands or draw pictures in the air with their hands to show God how much they love Him. When you say "freeze," have your kids to stop all motion and talking. To start motion again, say "thaw."

Talk: Colossians 3:17 tells us that in everything we say and do, we should thank God. Of course we should be thankful for food, homes and families, but we should also thank God that we can move our arms, talk, sing, see and walk. We can do these things because God blesses us with those abilities. What are some other things for which we often forgot to thank God?

Pray:Tell God about all the things you're thankful for.
